Your harp is shipped
to you in a Kortier
Superlightweight Travel Case. This
case has a rigid foam construction and a tough nylon zippered
cover. This protects the harp against sudden changes in temperature
and humidity, as well as bumps and bruises. While I can give
no guarantee against damage by airlines, experience has shown
this case to be excellent protection for your harp when checked
as baggage. In normal everyday usage, this case gives your harp
superior protection.
The
Story-
I designed this case specifically
for shipping harps, and for several years I made them myself.
When Colorado Case Company offered to make them for me, I gladly
accepted. I would rather make harps than cases. Their soft cases
for harp are also top quality. Check their website for more information.

Getting the empty cases from
Colorado to Minnesota has always been expensive, so when one
of my local harpowners, Sue Horton, of Harpers Hill, expressed
an interest in making the cases, I encouraged her, and she has
done a great job. So, the case that you receive your new harp
in will probably have the Harper's Hill logo on it, but if you
would like similar cases for your other harps, contact Colorado
Case. |
