The soundbox staves of this harp are made from yew wood, one of the "noble" woods of the Irish forest. The neck and pillar are soft maple with a brown satin enamel coating. The soundboard itself is made from pine carefully selected for stiffness and left unveneered. The result of these unique woods is a sound that is warm and full of character.
