The Brigid Harp

The Brigid is a small wire strung harp that can travel with you everywhere. The all brass stringing descends a full octave below middle C, and the top note is G, a three and a half octave range. The solid willow soundbox with mimimal glue lines acoustically simulates a carved out box. The back is permanently closed to be trouble free (no rattles or misfitting seams). Because the back is closed, you will need to replace strings through the front soundholes, a traditional procedure. Using Z toggles, this is not as problematic as you might think. The troublefree concept goes even further with a laminated one piece neck and pillar. This structure is very sturdy and will not deform over time.
