Any acoustic harp can have pickups installed, one for each string. This makes the instrument an electric harp as well as an acoustic harp, and most of the acoustic harps I build are outfitted with pickups as original equipment. I occasionally take trade-ins of acoustic harps, and depending on the circumstances I will often retrofit these harps with pickups as well, it is a great value added feature.
